ASR Aerospace Pvt Ltd was ideated and conceptualised by our Founder-Director, Shakir Ahmed, who has more than 28 years of experience in the aerospace and defence industry.

Before launching ASR Aerospace Pvt Ltd, Shakir Ahmed served as Chief Manager at the Rotary Wing Research and Design Centre of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore. His experience includes on-board flight-test instrumentation for India’s first indigenous supersonic fighter aircraft, the LCA Tejas; wind-tunnel testing; helicopter electrical, avionics and instrumentation systems; and technical training.
